Still working the update of the comic. Scanned the page, then went over the lines with the tablet. First time doing that, and first time working in GIMP. I don't know that I like it, you can definitely tell how shaky my hands are.

Also, a teaser for the re-start of the comic, working title of "Save Me." It will be a couple of months before the comic is up again. I will be posting these filler pics in the meantime, though.

Hahahaha, awesome. ^_^ I decided to make a page entirely of panels which follow the golden mean, supposedly the relationship between length and width that's most pleasing to the human eye. It does look pretty good. And I got to play with gutter space and everything, which makes it look kinda kooky. A good kinda kooky, though.

--In other news, the comic itself will be back up this weekend. Sans-photoshop, unfortunately. It's gotten a tad too busy to use it at work and none of the computers at home are stable enough to have it installed on them.

I suppose a bit of vaguely-comic related news is that I got married. So future pages will be marked as "(c) A. Stark" ... Or something like that.

No GWNM page again, and none next week, either. Getting married next Thursday, and probably won't have anything to add but a lot of filler and a couple of pics.

So, no update for this week, and most likely none for next week, either. The whole, you know, getting married thing. Kinda takes up a lot of time.

Hope you enjoy the Samithan and Kendarim special anniversary pieces. There is a wallpaper available of the Kendarim which is basically the same image used in the anniversary piece, only bigger. Recycling is good for the internet environment. ;)

Spent today making new wallpapers for TNP based off of Lila and the Kendarim. May as well consider the wallpapers a part of the anniversary celebration, even though it's a couple of weeks early.

I emailed the Lila one to my friend in Scott AFB, and he sent me a picture of his desktop with my wallpaper on it. ^_^ I had to resist putting up his desktop as my own wallpaper. The super-imposed icons probably would have given me a headache. So instead I put up the Kendarim one on my own. It looks surprisingly good. I really am proud of myself for this. *beams*

Now to see if people will actually download them...

Oh! And I forgot to mention that on page 30, "gyaadre" is fae slang for a human woman. It isn't quite a derogatory term, but it is considered somewhat rude.

No settled schedule yet, although I think it may settle out to be Fridays again, as quickly as this one was finished.

Next month marks one whole year of GWNM, although I'm not sure I should count it as a whole year of WTK/TNP what with the name change and everything... O_o Ah, whatever.

Man, my scanner sucks. That page has a lot more color on it in real life.
I don't know whether to find my continuity errors amusing or aggravating.

First color page has been added, well besides the cover, anyway. I think it even took me less time than the evil-lithograph style did. I just wish I hadn't misplaced my ruler.

Not quite an update, but close. Preliminary inking has been done, and this may actually be a color page. If it is, it will be the first of many. If not, *shrugs* then I go back to the pre-evil lithograph style I had, as the lithograph look obscured too many details. I prefer the open, clean look of an unshaded page as opposed to the realism that comes from adding depth and texture.

When I update the comic, I'll also add the literary portion of GWNM that I've been working on to the home page and further comic updates will be displayed here

Right, so then. What does this all mean for the comic? Well, basically it means a lot more construction will be going on as I have to move everything to the subdomain. However, I'm still unpacking/getting married, so comic updates will be sporadic at best. Everything will be. Hopefully the comic itself will be up and running again soon. I enjoyed it too much to let it fall by the wayside. I really appreciate everyone who's actually taken the time to look through my horribly sophomoronic work and hope that y'all will come back when it's finally up and running again.
